DMC&A carried out
designwork for retrofit of an at-anchor fin stabiliser system on
this exploration yacht and attended during the works carried out in
the USA.
The project involved detailed CAD
drawing to ensure correct positioning of the fins and that the
machinery would fit in the very limited space available.
DMC&A also carried out designwork for
other modifications, an inclining experiment following the refit and
produced new intact and damaged stability information books for
Classification Society and MCA approval.
Following a transatlantic voyage,
the Owner and Captain report the modifications have been successful. |
